Michel de la Barre – Premier livre (1702)

We recorded Michel de la Barre’s Premier livre de pièces pour la flûte traversière, avec la basse continue (1702) from 18-21 July at Mirabel’s Église St-Augustin.

It was such a delight to play this music with viola da gambist Margaret Little and theorbist Daniel Zuluaga while supported by sound engineer Philippe Bouvrette, producer Noemy Gagnon-Lafrenais, and harpsichord technician Jonathan Addleman.

Our album is now available via Navona Records’ website, Amazon (Canada), Amazon (US), and many other fine retailers and streaming platforms.

We acknowledge the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
